PEA – SUGARSNAP DWARF
Pisum sativum
Considered the sweetest of all sugar snap peas, produces succulent round stringless pods to 7.5cm long. You may plant peas in the spring after your soil has warmed up & again in late summer. An extremely early maturing bush. They produce a heavy crop of delicious crunchy pods that are really sweet. Eat them pod & all. Strong vines require little or no support reaching 50cm in height. Keep picking your peas to enjoy a longer harvest.
Peas do need good drainage. They grow best in full sun, but in an area where plants receive some shade from the midday sun as the season progresses.
