If you were making a garden seat out of recycled plastic it would not matter.  But something that is being used to nourish your veggies is another matter.  Around ornamental plants, it should not be an issue. If you are not sure then go for the green serious gardener pack as the green ones will not leach chemicals into the soil.  And you can stand on them and they won’t break. I know for myself I often forget to avoid them in the garden.\n\nBut it is up to the individual. Only you can know how careful you are in your garden and what your needs are.\n\nThey are perfect for raised garden beds or above ground composting because you are not likely to stand on them.\n\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow Many Recycled Clever Compost Bins do I need?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\nAs a general rule of thumb, I suggest one Compot per person and one for the garden. Though vegetarians often need two per person and two for the garden because they seem to have more fresh waste. Add one or two more if you have pets depending on whether you have a small or large animal and a small or large amount of animal waste. With the animal waste, it is preferable that is has decomposed properly before you spread it around your garden.\n\nHaving 10 Compots allows you this luxury to let one or two sit for 4 to 6 weeks to be sure all the animal waste has decomposed.
