But if you live alone this could be a bit of overkill. You may not have the waste to fill them all. Then again you might want to give them away as gifts. Or collect waste from restaurants, friends or neighbours, to feed your pots and your garden. When they see the change in your garden they will probably want some too.

Harvesting "Frass"

Ten Compots in your garden may not be in use all the time - as a result, you have more opportunity to harvest soil from the ones that sit idle. Therefore you have an endless supply of Composted "Frass", to use in pot plants or spread around the garden or perhaps make worm tea. Just remember to spread the Frass thinly around your garden as it is super rich.

Propagating with the composted soil

With the three tops, you can propagate to your heart’s content in whichever pot you feel like using at the time. Be sure and plant some of your Compots in the shade and some in the sun and experiment what works best for propagating in your area. If using the composted "Frass" to propagate your seeds, it can be very rich, so it's probably best to mix it with ordinary old soil. Or just use a good quality potting mix or propagation mix from the hardware store or nursery and spread the other Frass around your garden.

Experiment with what you like to grow to find out which method gets the best results and what suits the microclimate in your garden.

Articles coming soon

Propagating wheatgrass

propagating seeds

Composting in winter

Propagating seeds,

Composting dog waste (coming soon)

What if my dogs want to dig it up (coming soon)

Black Soldier Flies and Animal Waste (coming soon)

Shop eco-eze Compots Now
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1006/7171/7748/files/eco-eze_compot_X_10_propagarot_x_3.webp?v=1785570396
