If you are a family of 4 or 5 and produce at least a bucket of waste every two days you will most likely need this pack. Once you start collecting your waste and realise you need more you can always order more then. It is difficult to know exactly how much waste you produce until you actually start collecting it. These portable composter bins make it easy to spread them around your garden and just rotate filling them. If you keep up the water to your garden and cover your garden bed with something to stop evaporation, you will make it easier for worms to move around your garden. Hence they spread their goodness as they go from pot to pot without any extra help from you. And all you have to do it top them up with your waste. No turning or hard work involved. The soil is improved as nutrients and water leach from the pots and consequently, you get better plant growth. If you don’t have enough waste you can always go and raid a fruit shop or juice shop for their waste. I have raided shopping center bins for extra waste. When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn't suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden.
