We have always been told 'what' we can't compost because it is harmful to worms. But the eco-eze Compot can compost 'ALL' those things and more because it does not work on worms alone. The Soldier Fly Larvae will do all the hard work inside the Compot while the worms work on the outside. It is not common to find the Soldier Fly Larvae and worms in the pot at the same time. But it can happen if most of the waste has gone and the worms have moved in to finish it off.
Why are five a good number?
5L Compots x 5 can be spread around your garden to nourish many more areas without needing to keep digging holes. Five is good for a family of four but it's also good for large gardens. Even as a two-person household with a big backyard. With five you can use one pot for just worm friendly food only to breed up worms, and fill the other pots up with everything else. Plus you can collect soil easily by rotating letting one rest for a few weeks while your rotate filling the other pots. It's a personal choice but is good value for money if you have a largish family. Just keep topping them up and they will look after themselves. Too easy!Can the kids use it too?

When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn't suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden.
