If you  are a vegetarian you might find one Easy Portable Composter is not enough even for one person because vegetarians seem to have more waste than other people who I think eat more processed food so have less waste.    Even though fruit and veg waste will disappear in one to two weeks this is still not enough for vegetarians.  So having two pots gives you the extra pot to allow one to rest while you keep topping up the second one.  Or turn them into three pots by putting one above ground.  Watch this video on how to set up you eco-eze composter above ground for super fast composting. Or you might like to breed up worms in one Easy Portable Composter and have Soldier Flies in the other pot.   Beware though that fresh waste in your garden will attract garden critters that you might not want in your garden.  However having one Easy Portable Composter for worm friendly food works really well in raised garden beds.  But it you get a rat or possum or any unwanted critter trying to get at your fresh waste then you know you must soak your scraps to ferment them in order to deter unwanted garden critters.   Check out the FAQs and Tips and Tricks for answers to your questions. More About Direct Compost Solutions

When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.

Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn't suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden.
