Cynoglossum Amabile
FLOWER-FORGET ME NOT are gorgeous anytime and anywhere, these fast-growing annuals burst into a cloud of perfectly bright sky blue blooms, turning any garden instantly romantic. Very simple, loving sun-rich soil and average water, but easily tolerating less-than-perfect conditions, it's a must. Chinese Forget Me Nots are extremely easy to grow & are often the first blooms to ignite the spring meadow. Loaded with sky-blue flowers for weeks in summer, this annual adds a cheerful note to unexpected corners of our garden - it self-seeds here & there. Reaching around 35cm in height, the seeds are covered in velcro-like hooks so that they will stick to animals or birds to be dispersed.
Direct sow in early spring after the last frost. Sow 2mm below the surface & keep the soil consistently moist until germination. To start the seed indoors, plant it in a flat or individual peat pot 6-8 weeks before the last frost of spring. Keep the soil consistently moist and at a temp of 21°C until germination. Transplant after the last frost.

More About Direct Compost Solutions
When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn't suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden.
