If you happen to order some Compots over winter and you order 1kg of soil conditioner you can put a small amount in the Compot with your waste to add microbes to the soil. This will get the decomposition process happening before summer when the soldier Flies come. It is not essential to do this but it doesn't hurt.
Spread 1 kg of Soil Conditioner per linear meter and dig it into the soil.
Or make up a mixture with the potting mix using only 10% of Soil Conditioner per quantity of potting mix.

When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
