TOMATO-BREAK O' DAY-AUST produces small-leaved, open, spreading vines well supported by an extensive root system. The red fruits are large, smooth, meaty, and globular. Break O’ Day' is resistant to Fusarium wilt of vines & to nailhead rust of fruits. It is also slightly resistant to several blights, especially Septoria (black canker) leaf spot & early blight. Moreover, it seems to be fully as resistant to blossom-end rot. Produces 100 – 130 grams. red globe-shaped fruit with a very good flavor. Fruits grow in clusters of 4-6 with a medium size & are smooth, blemish-free &very juicy, with a light-red interior & many seeds.
Sow in a good mix of soil and lightly cover – keep moist but not wet. To transplant, plant deeper, up to the 1st set of true leaves, this increases rooting & speeds maturity. keep fertilized & evenly watered.
