Helichrysum bracteatum
FLOWER-HELICHRYSUM STRAWFLOWER tall mix makes fantastic cut flowers. The colorful medley of strawflowers is great for ever-lasting dried flowers. This dazzler will radiate color all over the garden. The parts of the strawflower that look like petals are actually stiff, modified leaves called bracts. Strawflowers will thrive in hot, full sun areas, they will grow in any well-drained garden soil & they tend to have dry leaves at the base. Few other flowers can provide such a show of color throughout the year. Plant seeds as soon as the soil is warm & there is no danger of frost.
Sow 6mm deep in seed trays or punnets, keep moist. Transplant to the final flowering position when 5-7cm high. Can also be sown directly in soil.

More About Us
When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn’t suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden
