BEAN-COLES BROAD EARLY-DWARF is a heavy cropping compact bush to 1m tall. A hardy very early dwarf variety of broad bean that is an excellent choice for areas that are prone to winds and storms during the growing season as it has fewer tendencies to blow down.  This is an early, prolific cropper of medium plants growing about 1m with average length pods of 20cm. Full of flavour and a strong hardy grower. Broad beans like a rich well dug soil but most soils will give a satisfactory crop. If possible feed the soil before sowing with a general fertiliser. Hardy annual.

More About Us
When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn’t suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden
