Brassica Chinensis
CABBAGE-BOK CHOY-WHITE STEM This cultivar is longer & narrower than a regular mid-size pak choy, but it tastes the same & can be used in exactly the same way. It does have the advantage that the stems are less bulky, thus need less cooking and the texture of the dish will be less coarse. Pale green stems from a thick base topped by oval bright green leaves. Can be used at the baby leaf stage for salads or full size for braising and stir-fries. Chock full of nutrients. Vase-shaped plants grow to 20-25 cm in height. The crop has tender white stalks & dark green leaves.

More About Us
When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn’t suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden
