Capsicum chinense
CHILLI-HABANERO WHITE are unusual lantern shaped ivory white hot chilli’s. The fruits mature from a greenish white colour to an ivory white. Small bushy plants produce very high yields. The fruit is approx 5cm long & 2cm wide.

They can be a little tricky to germinate & the seedlings can be a bit weedy at first but once started will produce lovely white pods on a plant that reaches 30-40cm tall. Habaneros are a Caribbean favourite but Habanero White is not only unusual in colour but is also quite rare. It is believed to have originated in Peru & is also called the “Peruvian White Habanero”. Best planted at soil temperatures between 18°C and 35°C.

More About Us
When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn’t suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden
