RADISH-BLACK SPANISH is a uniquely black skinned vegetable, the crisp, white flesh of Black Spanish Round Radish has a strong flavor! A little slower to mature than some other Radish varieties, but I think this one is worth the wait! This radish was around when the Mona Lisa was painted! A true heirloom with a snowy white interior and jet black skin. Black Spanish is a great autumn/winter planted radish. The flesh is crisp & warming. Perfect for salads or raw with a little salt. Easy to grow. Impress your friends with a black radish!
Sow at regular intervals from very early spring & also early autumn. Radishes grow well in most soils but prefer rich, moist free draining soils. Sow into well-cultivated soil. Sow very thinly. Thin out seedlings to 3-5cm apart.

More About Us
When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn’t suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden
