FRUIT-HONEYDEW ORANGE-MELON Light green smooth skin and orange flesh. An orange-fleshed version of the regular Honeydew, tasty. This is a highly adaptable, orange-fleshed, honeydew melon. The orange flesh contrasts nicely with the pale green rind. It has uniform size and fruit set with excellent yields. This honeydew melon can weigh up to 3kg. Sweet juicy orange flesh with small seed cavity. 15 x 15 cm in size.
Space 7-10cm apart in all directions. Melons need heat and well-drained soil, plant in full sun in raised beds or hills. Sow 1-2 weeks after the last frost when the soil is warm, above 21°C.

More About Us
When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn’t suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden
