TOMATO-BREAK O’ DAY-AUST produces small-leaved, open, spreading vines well supported by an extensive root system. The red fruits are large, smooth, meaty, and globular. Break O’ Day’ is resistant to Fusarium wilt of vines & to nailhead rust of fruits. It is also slightly resistant to several blights, especially Septoria (black canker) leaf spot & early blight. Moreover, it seems to be fully as resistant to blossom-end rot. Produces 100 – 130 grams. red globe-shaped fruit with a very good flavor. Fruits grow in clusters of 4-6 with a medium size & are smooth, blemish-free &very juicy, with a light-red interior & many seeds.
Sow in a good mix of soil and lightly cover – keep moist but not wet. To transplant, plant deeper, up to the 1st set of true leaves, this increases rooting & speeds maturity. keep fertilized & evenly watered.

More About Us
When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn’t suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden
