TOMATO-MARIANNA’S PEACE is one of the most sought-after heirloom tomatoes. The large, reddish-pink fruits weigh up to almost 2kg & have a smooth, creamy texture with a delicious, well-balanced flavor. Not very productive but it’s worth growing for the flavor. Potato-leaf foliage. A family heirloom from Czechoslovakia dating back to the early 1900s.
Sow in a good mix of soil and lightly cover – keep moist but not wet. To transplant, plant deeper, up to the 1st set of true leaves, this increases rooting & speeds maturity. Keep fertilized & evenly watered.

More About Us
When I started this journey in 2009, I found nothing existed commercially, that was reasonably priced and easy to use. There was a homemade system which I also found was not that user-friendly.
Then a friend of mine told me about a homemade method she used. However, when I tried her method, I found this also didn’t suit my needs, as it too had flaws that I considered where important. It did not keep vermin out, did not have a lockable lid and (to me) looked unsightly in the garden
